ZIBRA BRUSH COMB

$6.99

A good brush is an investment, and proper care is what keeps it performing beautifully project after project. The Zibra Paint Brush Comb Cleaning Tool was designed to make brush cleanup faster and more thorough, helping remove stubborn paint from deep within the filaments while protecting the shape and performance of your brushes.

Its two-sided design gives you two levels of cleaning power in one simple tool. Switch between the fine and wider-spaced teeth depending on the size of your brush and the amount of paint buildup you need to remove. The comb reaches between densely packed filaments where rinsing alone often can’t, making it especially useful for loosening dried-on paint and keeping your favorite brushes in studio-ready condition.

Easy to use and exceptionally effective, it’s one of those simple tools that makes proper brush care much less of a chore.

Studio Tip

Rinse away as much excess paint as possible with warm water, then work mild dish soap or Mélange Studio Brush Soap Wash into the filaments. Gently comb through the brush from the ferrule toward the tips, alternating between the fine and wider teeth as needed. Avoid aggressively pulling against the filaments. Rinse thoroughly, shake out excess water, reshape the brush, and allow it to dry hanging or lying flat. For oil-based paints or stains, remove the majority of the product with the appropriate mineral spirits before introducing water.
